Hi Savvas and All,
I will be giving a talk with an overview of our activities at DIS 22 in Spain next week. I think Patrick will be giving a talk there too!
Thank you for letting us know.
In the meantime, I was thinking about starting to produce -together with Eloy- all the necessary data for the gluon PDF using an ensemble with a finer lattice spacing.
That could be the 48^3x128 beta=6.5 which has a lattice spacing of 0.078fm I think…
That sounds good to me. How many configurations are you planning for? It seems for gluon projects, 2-3k configurations would be required.
That is a good idea… the only thing I worry about is whether we can get the statistics needed for gluons. Also autocorrelations will be growing and we may face some serious problems. On the other hand we have allocations and we should start this analysis now. Performing the continuum extrapolation of the unpolarized PDFs is a good thing to do in the near future.
Are we OK with that? And have we migrated everything needed to Redstar? That would be pretty crucial too.
I do not know much about it and someone with the knowledge of it has to confirm (but I remember hearing the 3pt code was implemented in Redstar?).
Robert has a complete replacement for Tanjib’s code. We need to coordinate with him, learn how to use it and cross check results. It would nice to be able to do everything in redstart.
Not sure how sGEVP is accommodated but I presume it should not be a big deal to have it.
Cheers,
K.
Thank you.

Dear All,
There was a sudden glitch in the power at my apartment and I lost connection for a few minutes. Below is the QCD Evolution presentation list:
1. David: What we have learned about pion (recent work with JAM?)
2. Joe: Overview of pseudo-PDFs
3. Colin: Quark distribution
4. Chris: Unpolarized gluon distribution
5. Raza: Polarized gluon distribution
Attached also please find my presentation today.
Thank you.
