Dear Dr. Orginos,

Congratulations on your 2025 INCITE award, and welcome back to the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF).  As your OLCF Account Manager, I will be responsible for setting up your project.  It is my goal to have your project ready for use by January 1, 2025.  Listed below are a few administrative items required prior to creating your project.  Please note we have new procedure.  Therefore, receiving these items as soon as possible (ideally within 10 business days) will assist me in ensuring that you can begin utilizing your INCITE allocation on January 1, 2025.

Project Setup
Prior to continuing your project on the OLCF resources, the following requirements must be met:

  *   Note this a new requirement and must be completed as soon as possible.

     *   This short project application is used to collect export control and data sensitivity information.

  *   The attached PI Agreement must be executed by you.  Please return the signed form to me via email at your earliest convenience.
  *   Please advise at your earliest convenience if there are any changes to your project scope and/or the software you will use.

Upon completion of the above requirements, I will notify you that your project has been successfully enabled for use in 2025.

INCITE Liaison
One of the unique features of the INCITE program is that your project will be assigned an OLCF liaison to provide scientific support.  The liaison will have a background in your project's research domain, or related scientific field, as well as extensive experience with the use of the OLCF computational resources.  Your liaison, Henry Monge Camacho, will be in contact to assist you in achieving your technical milestones by ensuring effective use of our resources.  The OLCF has additional personnel and resources available to you, including a visualization laboratory, visualization experts, and data management and workflow expertise and tools.  Your liaison will discuss these resources in further detail.

Setting up your 2025 Accounts

  *   Upon project creation, you will receive a confirmation email, to include instructions for any new project participants applying to the project.  Note that current users will not need to reapply.  However, I’ve attached a list of those users for your review.  Please advise if anyone should be removed.

Sub-Projects

These requirements include a risk-based review and approval process for foreign national access, and a process for documenting and tracking access by foreign nationals to DOE sites or involving access to DOE information technologies.
