Dear NERSC Users,


This is a reminder that if a project is not using its allocation of computer time at the rate specified in its ERCAP proposal, some of its allocation will be returned to the appropriate DOE Office of Science reserve for redistribution by that office’s program managers. This year’s first allocation reduction will occur on April 16, 2025.


ALCC and NERSC Director’s Reserve projects are exempt from these reductions because those programs have different schedules and criteria for reductions. Recently created projects are also exempt.
