Important information about Visa (and entry to TIFR) for foreign nationals.<br>

<b>We strongly urge all non-Indian nationals to pre-register, at the earliest opportunity, even if you are unsure of your attendance at Lattice 2025. </b></div>

There is no fee for pre-registration. The purpose of this pre-registration is to facilitate the visa process (conference/business/research visa).</div>

As TIFR is an institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, all foreign nationals require a conference/business/research visa to enter its premises; an e-visa will not suffice for visiting TIFR. To simplify the visa process, we will collect the necessary
information through this pre-registration, which will be submitted to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), India. Once MEA approval is obtained, visa processing will be significantly easier. Without the MEA approval, obtaining a conference/business/research
visa may be challenging, Pre-registration will greatly facilitate the process. Having a valid visa invitation letter is beneficial, as its absence could present significant challenges if you decide to attend. Once you complete the registration at a later stage
(beginning May 16, 2025), you will receive an invitation letter that you can use for your visa application.</div>
