[halla_compton] CFNS Workshop on Polarization and Polarimetry

Hi everyone -

I'm not sure if everyone on this list is on the relevant EIC-related 
lists so thought I would pass along the information for this workshop:

This workshop will focus on electron and hadron beam polarization and 
polarimetry at the future EIC.  It runs this Friday (June 26), next 
Monday (June 30) and Wednesday (July 1). It's not consecutive days to 
spread things out a little and try to mitigate "workshop fatigue."  
There will be several talks on electron polarimetry next Wednesday.   
The topics include an overview of JLab polarimetry (Kent), plans for the 
EIC (Ciprian), experience from HERA (Stefan Schmitt), and low energy 
polarimetry (Tim Gay and Kurt Aulenbacher).  This Friday morning, there 
will also be presentations about polarimetry plans for ILC (Jenny List) 
and SuperKEKB (Wouter Deconinck) , both of which require very high 
precision.
