Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting: March 25, 2014

1.)Thia Keppel

a.Senior Staff Meeting:

i.Raises effective April 15^th . They will be retroactive and range from 
2-2.7%

ii.JSA Initiatives approved some proposals

iii.10 year plan being updated

iv.Prioritization PAC is being organized, will have smaller topical 
groups of 3 or 4

v.Likely to be Hall updates at PAC

vi.Preparing for ARR2b (Hall D & HPS)

vii.Interviews have started for the 2 bridged positions

b.New contact numbers in Counting House

*Back room 5505 and 5506*

*Counting room 5507, 5509, and 5658*

c.New contact cards being worked on

d.Sprint cell phones work on the hall

2.)Kalyan Allada (Run Coordinator)

a.No beam since this weekend

b.If beam comes tonight (3-25-14) plan to do run with left arm and momentum

c.Possibly right arm

d.Please sign up for shifts

3.)Robin Wines

a.New HRS collimator is due on Friday

b.SBS -- magnet support drawings done. Sign off and to procurement tomorrow

c.Working on Moller cost estimate & beam line work

4.)Ed Folts

a.Supporting experiment

b.Developing work plans for summer down

5.)Doug Higinbotham

a.May 17^th Open House
