Stay tuned. 2) Bob Michaels a) There is a library renovation meeting tomorrow, 5/18, at 10:30in F224-5. They are considering a major reconfiguration, i.e. downsizing, of the library. The meeting is open so anyone interested can and should attend. b) Working on a 5 year outlook plan for major projects. Will be discussed more at the Thursday staff meeting 3) Robin Wines a) Making progress on g2p 4) Installation: (Ed Folts) a) Making progress on g2p 5) Doug Higinbotham a) The counting house has been cleaned up. There also was some serious housekeeping in the testlab. 6) Alexandre Camsonne a) Working with a student on Flash ADC’s b) Doing raster work 7) Jixie Zhang a) Doing g2p simulations, trying to finalize the g2p kinematics b) Planning for g2p target field measuring 8) Kalyan Allada a) Trying to identify the electronics needed for the 3rd arm b) Getting g2p students to help with de-cabling 9) John LeRose a) Had a long teleconference on Thursday with Hall’s A and C Hypernuclear people making plans for a future Hypernuclear program in the 12 GeV era b) Helping with g2p optics issues 10) Bogdan Wojtsekhowski a) Working on target and detectors for the A1n experiment b) SBS response to the technical committee should be ready by the end of the week c) Looking at a scintillating fiber detector for HRS optics 11) Ole Hansen a) Preparing for the IT review on Friday (5/20) i) It’s been an interesting exercise ii) Requirements are all over the place iii) Beginning to converge on a consistent picture iv) Has learned that the DAQ group is working on an event reassembly package, funded by Hall D v) Parallelization of the analyzer is still needed 12) Dennis Skopik a) Asks us all to keep safety on our minds going into the shutdown -JJL
