[Halla_parity] The Day After Thanksgiving

Hi Fellow PVDIS Collaborators,
If you're stuck in town with nothing to do on Friday (11/27- the day 
after Thanksgiving) you are welcome to come to my house for 
Day-after-Thanksgiving Dinner.
We had a great time last year so despite family obligations on 
Thanksgiving day itself we're having a "day-after-Thanksgiving dinner" 
for all of you who are stuck here for the run.
This will be a basically traditional American Thanksgiving dinner, 
turkey with stuffing, some sort of sweet potato concoction, assorted 
vegetable casseroles, with pumpkin and/or apple pie for dessert. If you 
have some special thing from home that you'd like to add to the menu, 
great, bring it on, but all that's required is a healthy appetite. We 
expect to sit down sometime between 5 and 6 PM, but that will depend to 
some extent on the turkey (they are notoriously fickle when it comes to 
overall cooking time). Let's just say we won't really start before 5:45. 
You can arrive anytime after 5. Everything will be very casual. Expect 
to be greeted at the door by an enthusiastically friendly (too friendly 
for some people) 50-lb. dog, so dress accordingly.
Please contact me if you're planning to come, so I can get a head count 
and give you directions. It's about a 30-minute drive from the lab to my 
house.
