Hi,
I missed the important point that the kinematics below where the signal is so poor correspond to those kinematics where the cone for the range of W given is outside the coverage by HRS and BigBite. A,B,C, and D all correspond to BigBite at -54 degrees where

I plotted out Coles plots on my printer for all kinematics A-I for two W=1.07375 MeV and 1.07875 MeV above threshold. It is quite obvious we should toss out some runs due to poor signal to noise. In most of these cases the early runs are the bad ones A,B C and D kinematics. but not all. There are some exceptions. Look at the ones I tabulated below. We will not lose much in statistics in doing this, but we might reduce the fluctuations in the data.
We can discuss this at the meeting.

For W=1.07375
Neglect J1 and B1 compared to G1
Neglect C1 compared to F1 and K1
Neglect D1 compared to E1 and L1
Neglect I1 compared to H1 and A1

For W= 1.07875
Neglect B1 compared to J1 and G1
Neglect C1 compared to F1 and K1
Neglect D1 compared to E1 and L1
Neglect A1compared to H1 and I1
