[Halla_running] RC summary & meeting

MCC has taken the beam for optics studies and will not be returning to Hall A. Our program is now finished, shifts have been canceled and the hall will be moving into restricted access. We will not have a meeting today, rather this email will serve as a summary of the past 24 hours.

1) CW beam was delivered to the hall last night. Moller commissioning was done. See http://hallaweb.jlab.org/halog/log/html/1404_archive/140403040700.html for details. Measured polarization of ~55%.
2) Some data was taken early this morning with the carbon target and 5uA CW beam.
3) MCC thinks they have solved the issue of running CW >1 uA. Last night, CASA adjusted the bunch length/compression (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3279826 for ALL the details). Around the same time, a BLM head was replaced. 5 uA CW beam was delivered successfully to the hall. There is not a consensus on which change is responsible for the improved beam, but I see this as a positive sign for the CW beam going forward.
