Dave Gaskell <gaskelld at jlab.org> is the new Run Coordinator.  The Hall A
RC phone is MIA right now, so email or use the jlab webpage to reach him 
in the near term.

RC update for Wednesday
-----------------------

No major status changes last day.  Hall D has 2 shifts under its belt now, but
accelerator problems persist so it is slow going on their commissioning
checklist.

There is still an outside chance that beam will be available in Hall A during
SWING on Friday.
  - General shifts are cancelled through Friday OWL.
  *** The TO for Friday OWL is still on the hook though (assuming the target
       cools successfully on Thursday).  Contact the RC for
       details/confirmation.
  - The Friday DAY shift leader should be on standby (contact the RC).
  - Regular shifts could start Friday SWING

The target cooldown will proceed as planned during Thursday DAY shift.  If it
goes smoothly then they will use it for practical training during SWING and
likely leave it cold overnight.  The expectation is to warm it up on Friday
DAY, but that needs to be confirmed.

A classroom target training session is still planned for 1:30-3:30 on 11/6
(Thursday) in CEBEAF Center room B101.  Contact JP Chen <jpchen at jlab.org> if
you are a TO to get trained.  Note that you will probably need the practical
as well -- talk to JP or Greg Smith for details.

- Wednesday (ongoing)
  - DAQ stress test
    - ROC sync monitoring needed
    - use EDTM(?) to trigger both LHRS and Calorim at high rates
    - verify no bottlenecks in system:  ROCS-->DAQ--->Tape
    - test buffering mode

- Thursday:
  - target cool down (DAY shift)
  - target training (afternoon)
  - will attempt to lock-up the Hall mid-afternoon for ~2 hours to allow
    MCC hot checkout of box supplies

- Friday:
  - will likely warm up cryo target during DAY shift
  - RF separation work during DAY and SWING shift, possible beam in
    late-SWING?

    group needs to install firmware).  Once ready they'll need some test time.

- Unser status (Dave Mack?)
  - still some work to do
  - pedestals drift a bit

- Moller status (Roman is onsite)
  - Moller checkout could be an option if we are restricted to very low
    currents (ie. excessive trip rates at higher currents, etc)

- ARC energy equipment status? (Doug, Rick Gonzales)
  - unclear, "should work", but there are a lot of unknowns

- F1 TDC readout and decoding (Steve, Alex, Marco)
  - F1 decoding is being added to analzyer now  (Marco, Steve)

- Crate sync scalers and/or ADCs (Paul)
  - in progress as of Wed

- Cosmics checkout questions  (Kijun, ???)
  - GMP trigger mode vs. DVCS trigger mode (not sure of the difference)

- Helicity signals (Buddhini, Alex)
  - signals plugged in, but not clear what the associated FB ADC channels are?

- Logbook fixes (Brad)
  - I added some 'pre-filtered' lists under 'Useful Links'
    - ie. run-starts, run-ends
    - let me know if there are others you want
  - added 'Autolog' tag list on (new) automatic entries so the 'Exclude
    Autolog' option under 'Display Settings' will work to suppress
    start/end-of-run entries

- New TCL/tk 'halog' utility (new logbook only)  (Brad)

- Firefox seems to be broken on adaq cluster (Brad)
  - a-onl at aonlX accounts are fixed
  - adaq@* on the todo list (Brad)

- HRS angle snapshots into DAQ (Brad)
