Dear everyone,
Over the weekend, we have been mostly in 4-pass production running
at 10 uA in parallel with beam delivery to Hall D.
We have had a few interruptions in the program. There was about a
five-hour down Saturday afternoon for beam tuning for Hall D.
The RHRS HV controllers tripped off at about 01:10 this morning;
we delayed the access until about 10:00, but now both spectrometers
are back in production mode.
Monday morning, we plan to take a Moller measurement starting at
10:00. We will ramp the RHRS momentum down to 0.85 GeV during the
Moller to take the single carbon foil pointing run afterwards.
The LHRS will remain at the production momentum settings for the
carbon run.
Following the carbon foil running, we tentatively plan to do a
bullseye scan to help understand the apparent position shift in
the datastream which followed the RF card replacement for BPM H04A.
After the carbon running, we would return to production running
on LH2. We do not intend to try to do a final BCM calibration;
OPS has not been able to get above ~20 uA without invasive tuning,
and we do not think the value of that cross-check justifies the
time hit.
Please let me know if there are other special tasks that need to
be done before the end of the run on Wednesday.
Thank you,
Paul King.
