A rough punchlist first, followed by the tentative plan for the next few days.

Exec summary:
- we may lock up Thursday SWING to allow MCC to begin steering up the Hall A line (no target, no shift crew needed)
- have CH staff starting Friday DAY shift, MCC will work to establish 2-pass beam to Hall A
  - straight through, no Compton Chicane
  - we'll run with 2-pass over the weekend
- more details below

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Hall Punchlist
--------------------------------------------------------------------
* Everyone needs to read and sign the COO/ESAD/RSAD in the Counting House
  - see also https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3375013

- Harp scanner checkout [Buddhini]
  - In progress: see https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3374823 and follow-ups
- BPM issue follow-up from Fall [Buddhini, Thir, Pete Francis]
  - Sounds like the wrong numbers got into the CED in the Fall run and those
bad coefficients drove the bad/strange numbers we saw. Pete affirms
that those numbers were identified and corrected as part of the S&H
    troubleshooting of that problem.
  - I think Buddhini and Thir are also running some cross checks on those BPMs
    https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3374826
  - Things sound OK, but Buddhini/Thir please make a halog summarizing the old
issue from the emails we've received and confirm we're in good shape.
- CODA EPICS logging still has a few missing/dead variables [Alex, et al]
- A new Hall A BCM average current screen that uses the new BCM readouts has
  been requested [Brad, Kjeldsen, Alex]
- Left Dipole NMR not locking [Segal]
- Raster readback currents zero when on [Barak, Kalyan]
  - also waiting on some new hardware (filters?) to be installed
- Confirm coin. timing in DVCS DAQ with EDTM [in progress]
- HRS motion (bogie controls) hasn't been checked for a while [Segal]
  * NOTE! The RHRS is at 48 degrees and has been surveyed. Do *NOT* move.
  - The LHRS motion controls still need to be verified.
- Arc energy scanner motion needs to be checked [Doug]
- Position, Energy, Current locks (and FFB) status unclear [MCC, Brad]

*** Before 4pm Thursday ***
- Be ready to lock up Hall at 4pm (if MCC is ready)
  - Ensure target is set to 'no target' position and controls locked out
  - Hall/RadCon Checklists completed [Jesse, RadCon; Brad]
- The DVCS calorimeter needs to be pulled downstream on its rails
  - Note: It is already at its maximum angle (constrained by the RHRS).
The RHRS angle is *not* to be changed for the time being.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Completed Punchlist Items
--------------------------------------------------------------------
- Hall A Halo Monitor reported to be not working/disabled
  - not critical path item, so will not follow-up at this time
- Target GUI, controls reported to be working [Meekins]
- Right Q1 power supply issue corrected [Segal]
  - I believe 700A is still the operational limit
- Right Dipole power supply control working again [Segal]
- LHRS Q1 limited to 1800A (~ 2.6GeV in standard tune)
  * We need to ensure shift crew have appropriate instructions on how to set
the LHRS momentum correctly given this limitation.
- Injector Faraday Cup problem from earlier run is confirmed to be fixed [Joe]
- BCM readouts are reported to be working [Alex, Musson, Mack, Ciprian]
  - all systems ready for up to 100 uA
  - bad power supply causing strange signal noted Monday identified
    and replaced with a spare
  - linear FIFO removed from Dx3, Dx10 channels [Mack]
  https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3374376
- Helicity reporting set to 'prompt' [https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3374890]
- RHRS HVAC repaired [Chuck]
- Target OTR reported to be working [Brad]
- RHRS detectors in good shape [Kalyan et al]
- LHRS detectors in good shape [Mongi et al]
- DVCS detector in good shape [Mongi et al]

====================================================================
Tentative plan for the near term -- detailed daily runplans to come
====================================================================
We will go with 2-pass beam to Hall A over this weekend and we'll
scratch the Compton Chicane requirement (just go straight through).
See below for more details. As usual, the farther in the future, the
fuzzier the forecast...

Thursday SWING -- Friday OWL
** Optional -- MCC must let us know if this will be useful to them **
- Hall A will plan to lock-up the Hall by 4pm Thursday.
  - Target will be moved to the 'no target' position and motion
    disabled.
  - The DVCS calorimeter will be moved to its safest position
    (farthest from the beam line).
* NOTE: there will need to be a low-current limit for this 'unattended'
running so there is no chance of accidentally rad-damage the
  calorimeter during steer-up.
  - Tune beam will be fine, very low current CW (couple uAmps) is a
maybe, but we need assurance that CW beam can't get "parked" on
something thick in the target area and dump background into the
    Calorimeter for long periods.
  - Note that the in-Hall BLMs will not be calibrated and we can not
easily monitor dose into the calorimeter. A
* NOTE: We will _not_ have shift crew in the counting house until Friday
DAY shift. MCC should be instructed to call the RC cell phone
        if necessary.

Friday DAY -- Weekend
- We'll follow the whiteboard plan, but will take you up on taking
  2-pass beam over the weekend.
  - NO Compton chicane either
  - Do an All-Save, we'll be coming back to 2-pass later in the week.
- Tasks will include:
  - Ion chamber calibration (we need to talk about this procedure) [MCC]
  - Establish energy, position and current locks (and FFB) [MCC]
  - Beamline commissioning work
    - ARC energy measurement
    - Target positioning study
    - Target raster scan
    - BPM calibration vs Harps
    - Rough BCM calibration (cross calibration Hall A BCMs vs Unser
only, no FC2; non-invasive to other Halls)
  - Set LHRS DAQ to readout FADC in LHRS (low priority)
   - Start detector checkout and calibration studies
   - ...

Monday DAY
- Hall A will go to Restricted Access for target cooldown
* We would like to come back up at 1-pass after the target is cold
  - NO Compton chicane needed here either
* If it is feasible to move the Tuesday beam studies to Monday DAY, that
would be a bonus. (Our plan will be the same regardless.)

Monday SWING --> Wed DAY (?)
* Run 1-pass CW beam
  - Run GMp optics calibrations studies
  - We'll finish any beamline commissioning tasks that were not
    completed over the weekend
  - ...

Wed DAY (?)
* Pass change to 2-pass
  * go THROUGH the Compton Chicane this time
  - Yves and Compton experts (Gaskell) need to be on-shift during steer
up to make sure the Compton is threaded well

Wed SWING --> Weekend
- Run 2-pass production quality beam
- Complete remaining DVCS calibration tasks and/or pending beamline
  commissioning tasks
- Possible Moller commissioning and/or dedicated Compton Commissioning
- Get the 2-pass DVCS production data in the can
