[Halla_running] [New Logentry] Experiment status and plans

On Friday and Saturday the MCC established 4-pass beam in hall A.  By Saturday night we were in production mode and have run fairly smoothly since then. 

Today, starting at 10am, we'll do a sequence of auxiliary measurements:  beam energy, Moller, and spin-dance.   Improving the orbit and the energy lock might be by-products of this work.  After that we want to restore compton when there's a natural time to do it. 

Tomorrow, Tuesday, are beam studies.   Since we won't have beam in hall A (it goes off at 7:45 am) we'll  do a survey of the calorimeter.  We might also do a survey of the compton, TBD.

There is an open question of when to do the calorimeter elastic calibration; it requires reversing the L-HRS polarity, followed by a 1/2 hour run, and then reversing polarity again.  The polarity reversal requires 2 techs with usually one of them being Jack Segal.  This will happen this week, but I'm not yet sure when.

There is a 4pm RC meeting today in the 2nd floor counting room.
