After yesterday's beam studies the accelerator was recovered overnight, 
and we're taking data now. There are some beam positions instabilities and 
a large compton background, which the MCC experts are now trying to fix - 
at the 8 am meeting they seemed to understand what to do.

The plan for today is production data taking.

Tomorrow, day shift, we'll have 3 hours of down due to RF recovery. We 
could go into controlled access if necessary, but I have not heard any 
requests yet. Please let me know if you have work to do in the hall.

Today we'll have the usual 4 pm RC meeting in the 2nd floor CH meeting 
room to discuss status and plans. After that meeting we'll do the 
ceremonial hand-off of the RC phone to the next RC, Kijun Park. Good luck
