Hi all,

I'd like to bring you up to date with the situation we're in at the moment. After posting a run plan for a busy weekend with beam (see HALOG 3439805 <https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3439805>), there was a serious vacuum event near the RF separator yesterday afternoon (see HALOGs 3439842 <https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3439842> and 3439890 <https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3439890>). After speaking with the crew chief this morning, I cancelled the day shifts today (except for target operator).

I was told that if the vacuum group can find and fix the leak today then we could still see beam on swing. On the other hand, until they find the leak, we won't really know how much trouble we're in (or not). 

So keep your fingers crossed. I'll uncross mine from time to time to update you on the situation as it unfolds.
