Colleagues,
I hope most of you read this email before you return from Thanksgiving
break so you can enjoy these few days off knowing that all the long hours
putting humpty-dumpty (aka CEBAF) back together again were ultimately
successful.   Tonight CW 5-pass operations were restored to the DVCS
experiment and they have resumed taking data!   Thanks to all your hard
work over the past 7 weeks, we've managed to retain  some semblance of a
Fall program in face of an incredible number of large impact episodes.


I hope that the next time I see everyone is Monday and we all enjoy a quiet
steady four days of beam operations.

Those who do not have plans for Thanksgiving, or are on shift in
MCC/Counting House, or unfortunately have been called in, are invited to
MCC sometime after 12:00 as Thanksgiving dinner will be provided.
