So far we still haven't received CW beam in the hall. Yesterday the 3rd Moller Quad was brought back by perform a power-supply reset, and we have been waiting "patiently" since then for the CW beam. However, the work on 5th pass-separators continuously tripped the 3rd-pass separator through out the entire day. We started to received tune beam at around 10pm last night but kept interrupted due to multiple issues on the different systems in the accelerator. They eventually prepared to send the CW beam to us by performing functioning tests on our Ion chambers. The Compton and Moller ion chamber failed in the tests and the MCC suspected that could be a software issue. After waiting for the expert coming in the morning to debug the software, it was later found out that the software was fine and it could be due to a hardware issue. They are continuously performing tests, and a hall access may be needed if there is a hardware issue.

At the same time, we still only have the LHRS  functioning while the RD is still off. The near future plan is to send us the 3rd-pass CW beam so we can finally start the commissioning. So there won't be any planned down-time for today and we will keep the hall close. If there is a time-window for repairing the RD, we will inform our tech crews immediately. The current plan is to have the CW beam into the hall and we choose to run with LHRS temperately. 

For the rest of this December run, we will go to 1st pass on tomorrow morning when Hall-C is down, and we will continue running at this beam energy till the end unless there is a major schedule change. Putting us on the 1st beam will "guarantee" us a few days of good quality beam so we can finish most of the commissioning tasks plus few physics runs, most importantly with the Tritium cell. And meanwhile, we will have less impact from the continuous work on the 5-pass separators which is very important for us.
