Hi all,
I have added a page to the Ar(e,e'p) wiki for our daily run meetings.
https://hallaweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Daily_Run_Meetings
The purpose of this page is to collect any plots or slides shown by the students so they are easy to find later.
The students are encouraged to report progress on their studies/analyses!
(full presentations are not required, but a few plots and/or tables are helpful for discussion!)
As Camillo suggested, it would be great to get into the habit of showing "data quality reports" for the data from the previous 24hrs.
The idea is for the students to write scripts that can generate plots/tables quickly, using the replayed data.
Some ideas for data quality observables:
-Production hours collected, on Ar and Ti
-deadtime (Dien has written a code for this, she will discuss it at the meeting today.)
-scaler ratios (ask Florian which scaler ratios are important)
-estimated number of collected real coincidence events (use coincidence timing peak)
-(also, the plot of the coincidence time spectrum)
(Also, we should have an Ar(e,e'p) mailing list. I'll set that up later today.)
Cheers,
Evan (Hall A RC)
