[Halla_running] [New Logentry] Hall A status and plan for Tue 10/23

After a bumpy week we finally had two shifts that went fairly smooth on our side. The accelerator had some trouble with a klystron (which they plan to address this morning). We are now being surveyed in preparation for our 3 h access to give Jack and Dave Meekins a chance to investigate the magnets and target.

At around noon we plan to be out of the hall and be ready for OPS to send beam into the hall for the facility development studies. Depending on how things go today we may decide to just have the target operator on shift tonight during OWL when they will do the Phaser part of the test (which does not require beam into the hall -- only to the dumplette).
