[Halla_running] [New Logentry] RC Daily Update

Wednesday Oct 24 
DAY:
- we enter in controlled access, ~8:30am. (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3614243) 
- Jack S. enter into the Hall to diagnose the status of Left Arm, after the trip on LQ3 last Tuesday, Oct 23. (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3613988). No changes at all. 
- Dave M. installed a small Turbo Pump due to issues with two mech pumps on the CVI port (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3614364) 

SWING: 
- Beam studies in preparation for next Hall A experiment. 
- ~20:30 we started to received tune beam (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3614462) 
- Left Arm momentum was set to 1.128 GeV/c - we measured H,D,3He,3H elastics @ ~1GeV, 10min runs 

OWL: 
- finished the elastics runs 
- LQ3 tripped when ramping back up to high current (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3614652) 
- ~2:00 MCC started the Phaser studies (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3614666) 

PLAN FOR TODAY (Thursday, Oct 25) : 

DAY: - we enter in controlled access to investigated (and hopefully solve) the LQ3 issue. 
- MCC will continue the Phaser studies during the whole shift (NO beam independently of the work in the hall) 

SWING: 
- MCC will start MoMod studies ~8h estimated. 

OWL:
- according to MCC schedule, this beam on this shift is on float depending of the previous studies, but Beam is expected in the shift. 

For the moment, I cancel DAY shift (sorry for the late notice). I'll keep SWING shifts in Stand-by since it is not clear RIGHT NOW if there will be beam at the end of the shift (probably not, I'll send personal emails around noon). Full OWL shift crew is required (PLEASE SIGN!!).
