[Halla_running] [New Logentry] Hall A run update and plan (2nd pass-change started and production run soon)

We have completed our optics data taken at 5th pass and finalized the current settings for the LQ1 saturation correction. Our tech took the sieve slit out around 8 am, then we had a 30min run with Optics target w/o sieve at P0=3.67GeV, before MCC took away the beam at 9:20am for the pass-change which is expected to took ~2hrs+.

Once we have the 2nd pass beam ready, we will start our standard procedure to go from Phase-I to Phase-III, and unlock the Tritium cell and other gas cells. We will find an opportunity for Florian to have a short access to the detector huts and fix some small detector/trigger issues . Production run will hopefully start afterwards in the afternoon. Once the production starts, we expect to have smooth runs for the x>1 SRC kinematics. We will still need to finish the BCM calibration run and Target-Boiling study at some point when the beam is stable. 

I highly appreciate our collaborators who quickly responded to our call for shifts yesterday. The shift schedule looks much better now although there are still some empty spots. We need shift-leaders for the Saturday-owl & night, and SL+TO for the Sunday owl-shift (also needed for the next 4days).   I sincerely ask you to continue helping us for this weekend and following weeks.
