[Halla_running] [New Logentry] Daily Experimental meeting / Status

Since 10AM we have been working with Yves to investigate the reproducibility of the hall A beam setup. We have seen indications that simply cycling the line will provide intrinsic spot size differences of around 20um. By simply adjusting the orbit in the line (using correctors) we have managed to obtain a tune that provides less 1k DS Compton rates. We are finishing up the Compton setup and plan to test the tune with the main detectors. 

We tentatively plan to take production until about swing shift when we can go in and start the Pole Tip Re-scattering systematic study -- we will be able to run this with just taking 2 escorted access for changing between counting and integrating.

We will have the regular meeting at 3 30 in the 2nd floor of the CH:
