Summary:
*During the period (03/09 Day shift-03/10 Owl shift ), we smoothly took
the stable production data with the beam current 30uA.
*During 10:43 to 17:00 of 03/10 day shift, we were working on "No control
on LHRS NMR" issue, and around 17:06, we went back to take the pseudo
production run (no LHRS NMR).
Data:
run 4679 to 4719: stable production run
run 4721 to 4724: the SciFi data (taken during the gap of sloving the issue)
run 4725 to 4726: the pseudo production (no LHRS NMR)
Issues:
* At 10:43 (03/10), the Shift leader (wdconinc) found out that the LHRS
magnet channels are not reading (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3665647
and https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3665658). We called the experts, and
Alex were able to reboot the LHRS IOC
(https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3665673) remotely, but that couldn't
solve the issue. So he suggested to make an access rebooting for both Left
and Right HRS IOCs and to just power cycle thr NMR
(https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3665673).
*Tech on call redirected IOC reboot to Ethan/Jack, who have access to the
IOC for rebooting. Jack were able to come and help us. Jack thought that
the IOC portserver might be broken, it will be easy to fix it on Monday.
Rather than wasting more than two hour beam time to diagnoise the issue
without solving it today, Bogdan suggested that we could go ahead to start
the production run with monitoring the LHRS Hall probe to ensure that the
field is stable while taking the data.
Plan:
Continuing with the pseudo production data (no LHRS NMR) untill Monday
morning. Jack will fix the IOC porserver issue then.
