Yesterday CREX started the high current beam commissioning.
As a part of the high current commissioning, we have done ion chamber calibrations for C-foil and Ca-48 targets, and gone through Ca-48 target surface impurities burn off procedure.
MCC commissioned Fast feedback for straight through beam (not through Compton chicane).
Beam modulation is also commissioned.

Due to the high Compton background (more than 7 kHz) at 150 microAmp, we were forced to run production at 120 microAmp.
Last night we had a few hours of production data and our experts are chewing the data to extract maximum juice out of it.

Issues:
1. LHRS hut temperature is high (79F during last swing).
2. Large Compton background at production current even for straight  through tuning.
3. Fast Feedback introduces large vertical beam motion 

Present hall status:
Hall is under control access (while accelerator is down for maintenance work).
Some AC repair work is ongoing.

We will have our remote RC meeting at 3:30 PM
