[Halla_running] [New Logentry] Status update

We are running smooth production, collecting ~ 3C/shift so far. 

Compton background rates were high throughout the day yesterday, steering on MBC1C20H at late swing brought it down significantly (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3832592). The rates were maintained < 5k since then.

Hall A dp/p was monitored throughout the data taking and maintained using the 2A energy lock with dp/p offset when there was enough current to do it, otherwise by correcting the energy manually when needed. Later during swing, MCC put a PID lock on dp/p and we have been running this way since then. Data seems to indicate a significant reduction in the 12X noise after the lock was introduced.

We are seeing large position differences in the injector, and plan to make a slight adjustment on the PC voltages to address it. Amali will take point on that during the owl shift tonight. This will not affect other halls nor beam delivery. PD and other RCs were informed.

Hall C beam won't likely back today due to further delay on their target work. 
There is no planned accelerator downtime for an upcoming week at this point. Hall C pass change is scheduled on Aug 31. I will keep everyone posted if things change.

The LHRS VDC noise was discussed, and the culprit seems to have been identified (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3832384). The repair plan is being discussed among the experts. The plan is to do the fix before the Qsq measurement in the upcoming week.
There will be no 3:30 meeting today. We will continue running production.
