Dear Collaborators,

We will have our usual meeting upstairs in the counting house at 3:15 pm today. Bluejeans link for remote participants: https://bluejeans.com/256205934

Since swing shift yesterday we've been running fairly well and collected some good data!

Outstanding Issues:

1. A couple of shifts need filling. Now is a great time to take shifts as we've started to get good production data again! We need shift leaders for Swing shift on Saturday February 22nd as well as Owl shift on Monday February 24th. We also need expert shifters for Day shift on Saturday February 22nd and Swing shift on Sunday February 23rd. Please sign up and accept the heartfelt thanks of the collaboration!

2. We are still investigating the fast feedback issues with the help of MCC. At this point fast feedback is no longer working without fast forward, but Paul K and Scott H believe they have a work around. Caryn is currently running tests to resolve this issue.

3. We lost contact with the collimator water cooling system last night for several hours. This was solved by rebooting the IOC (see log entry 3788010). It is vital that we monitor this closely as the alarm handler did not sound for either us or MCC. If the plots displaying the cooling on monitor ch01A03 are empty follow the instructions in log entry 3788010 starting with asking MCC to stop beam.

4. LHRS HV GUI died, but HV is still on. Need to reboot when we have an opportunistic access.

5. It may be possible for us to lower the Moller threshold from 10500. See log entry 3784879. We can discuss at the 3:15 meeting.

6. At 13:00 our cryo flow dropped to zero when Hall C was making a controlled access. The right dipole also tripped which was probably related. We had MCC stop beam immediately and the tech on call advised us to ramp down all magnets which is in progress, and the techs will be here shorlty.

Resolved Issues:

1. The bleed through from Hall C seems to have been resolved wth the recent change to the arc 1 orbit lock. See log entry 3788048.

2. We have moved to a beam current ramp rate of 20uA/s up from 7 uA/s. See log entry 3786762 from Silviu approving this.

Best,

Scott Barcus
(current Hall A Run Coordinator)
