[Halla_running] [New Logentry] Hall A status and RC meeting

Dave Meekins told us yesterday that he managed to remove the oxidation layer from the old Ca48 target. He is on standby to start work together with RadCon to prepare the target chamber (decontamination and cleaning) and install the Ca targets today. We hope to be able to complete this work by the end of the day and be able to pull vacuum. Tomorrow we plan to do the cool-down and start beam restoration. This is all contingent on the JLab Radiation Protection Committee approving the work plan put forward for this work.

Hall A shifts are cancelled until tomorrow (Th Jan 23) OWL shift. DAY shift tomorrow is on standby.
