Jesse et al have finished transitioning to SBS-8. There was an issue with the ted BB Daq and it is on the shelf to be surveyed at a later time (in the meantime the wiki instructions will be updated to use a different method). There are outstanding issues remaining regarding the SBS spikes investigation by Jack. We will request a sweep and go into controlled access shortly. Then Jack will complete investigation into SBS spikes under controlled access. When he is done, we will go to beam permit. The plan is to take cosmics, then restore beam, then take sieve in data. We will request an escorted access to remove the sieve either (a) after we finish sieve in data or (b) during late swing shift if it becomes clear that there are manpower issues on the OPS side for escorted OWL access.
