[Halla_running] [New Logentry] RC Update

HallA has been  in controlled access since yesterday while OPS does beam studies. Techs performed investigation of SBS spikes, GRINCH folks traced issues, and ted BB DAQ was surveyed and removed from the hall for repair. Beam studies expected to wrap up later this afternoon. Beam return estimates are late-DAY  to SWING at present. We will follow the beam restoration procedure before proceeding to data taking for SBS100% setting.

There is a hot spot investigation OPS will do for ~4 hours when beam comes back, which apparently will be done with the Hall C beam. My understanding is that this investigation will be transparent for the A beam, and that A will be unaffected.
