RC Report -- 01/27/23

Run update:
There was no beam during Thursday Day and Swing shifts due to the work Ops were doing on the machine optics. The total downtime was around 24 hours in the end.

They started sending tune beam around 1am but further problems meant that it closer to 6am before we could start beam checkout (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4118023). Good beam was established in the hall and checked with Bill.

We moved to the He3 cell and restarted production running around the transition to Day shift. 

Run plan:
Production data-taking to continue through Sunday. A Wien angle change is scheduled for Monday Day. Don and team are planning to take Moller measurements before and after the change, tentatively scheduled to begin at 8am. A maintenance day is also scheduled for Wednesday.

Special requests:
In the event of an unplanned down period, Hall C have requested that we inform them so that they can do a BCM calibration up to 60 uA (for around 1 hour). 
Don would also like to check out the Moller dipole if beam is not available for a while (sorry, Don, I did not anticipate such a long downtime yesterday).

Meeting:
Given that the Hall A Collaboration meeting is today maybe we should skip the RC meeting. I am available on the RC phone (or email) if anyone has anything to discuss.
