RC Report -- 01/30/23

Run update:
It was an eventful 24 hours. Beam delivery was very poor for much of the day yesterday and we had a number of problems in the hall. We were only able to accumulate 0.7 C. Many thanks to the shift crews.

Issues:
Around 5am on Sunday there was a problem with the target gui's. Thanks to Arun, Jack, Bill and Hunter for investigating on a Sunday morning. Hunter was able to diagnose and fix the problems with labview on the computers in the counting house and in the hall. This required two short escorted accesses.

Around 2pm we were ready to bring beam back to the hall but Ops informed us that the SBS upstream right corrector magnet was not responsive. Thanks to Jack who went into the hall and power cycled the magnet's power supply.

Poor beam then hampered our beam recovery efforts, meaning that it was close to 8pm before we were ready to resume production data-taking. At 9pm, we lost communication with ioc26 (target). Thanks to Bill and Arun for talking us through the reboot procedure. When everything was back up, Ops were not able to deliver beam as they could not clear our target motion mask. We had to re-initialize the target motion controller in order to fix this problem.
 
Run plan:
The Moller crew started around 4am on Monday and expect to be finished the first measurement in the next couple of hours. There will then be the Wien angle change and setting up of the 5-pass (V) separator to allow beam delivery to Hall B. Once beam is available (~4 hours) there will be another Moller measurement. We'll then switch back to production running until the maintenance day on Wednesday.
