"We'll Always Have Paris"
RC Report 1 November 2023
Yesterday, Zac and his team moved SBS, the GEM crew with tech support removed an SBS GEM plane for maintenance, and the Target team started working in the enclosure. Sadly, one of the target teamworkers, during the frisk afterwork found a contamination debris in the t-shirt. Work in the enclosure was stopped until RadCon reevaluate the status of the enclosure. The ECal group has started to test some modules (picture attached), please be aware that those modules are warm (hot).
Today, BB is planned to be moved, meanwhile SBS is surveyed. GEMs crew will continue with the maintenance, and waiting for RadCon evaluation, target work will continue. Nick Falls (x7186) from the accelerator division, requested to turn on the Moller dipole for the day https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4213517 . After clearance with Zac, and assure that it won't interrupt the work in the Hall, I green light the petition.
