[Halla_running] [New Logentry] Hall A status and RC meeting (Nov 9, 2023)

It sounds like GEM work in the hall wrapped up this afternoon, and target calibrations are ongoing.

As for an update on the Hall A dump repair:

  - Work was allowed to commence, and the leak has been stopped. The pumps still need to be started.

  - Stuart laid out some conditions that must be met in order for beam to be sent to Hall A: implement alarms, determine responsibility for beam dump operations, and apply these standards to Hall C as well. I am unclear on the status of meeting these conditions, and Mark will learn more in an accelerator meeting that is concurrent with the RC meeting. 

Let us meet at 3:30pm today to discuss updates on the GEM and target work done today. If any other subsystems would like to update, that's fine too. I would also like to know if anyone wants to do any work that requires the magnets ON between now and Monday so that we can plan for that. See you all in a couple hours!
