The hall was swept and put into beam permit last night after the MCC beam studies, around 6pm. We took an NMR of 41.6%. MCC called to say beam was available around 7pm, and we began the beam recovery after tuning procedure. The beam was a little more trippy than the last few days, and we had unrelated intermittent trips of GEM Layer 0. However, we were able to slowly bu tsurely get back into production running at 45uA on pol He3 target just before OWL shift handover. This was relatively stable until 01:30am when GEM Layer 0 tripped again, however the wiki recovery method failed to bring it back. GEM expert on call Saru was able to get the HV back after several restarts - thanks! The SL was instructed to do this for trips until day shift when we could investigate.

Layer 0 tripped again at the start of DAY shift, and this time event repeated reboots no longer worked. Holly, Saru, Vimukthi and Alex had an escorted access to investigate the issue. The power strip to PS,SH,Grinch and GEM was restarted and they were able to stabilize GEM Layer 0. However we then lost communication to some BBCal channels on the HV GUI. Provakar and Kate were able to investigate this and the HV issues were sorted for about 12:20.

Simultaneously, communication to the raspberry pi for the Target Laser Fibre RTD and fire safety handler temps was lost. Ellen was able to log in and reboot it for us.

We are now progressing towards resuming production at 45uA on pol He3 target. The most recent NMR is 38.7%

It has been a relatively active 24h, I am going to tempt fate by going for some lunch :)
