RC daily update 10/23
General Updates:
Another 24 hours with about 3 C of charge collected of production data. Largely a smooth day yesterday interspersed with some issues with the GEMs tripping in correlation with increased IC rates. Also still seeing bleedthrough from Hall C but it is manageable for the GEMs as long as they are taking < 30 uA.

Some discussion took place in the 7:45 and 8 am meetings about isolating exactly where the bleedthrough is coming from, either the injector or from steering. MCC is looking into this today. It also seemed like there is some issue with the orbit locks when the beam is down for a few minutes and they have work planned for that during the maintenance day on Wednesday. They are looking into other measure that can be used over the next two days to stabilize the orbit. 

Other than that, the weekend was productive production running with no major down time incidents.

RUN PLAN
This morning the techs inserted the sieve in preparation for the high power beam test in Hall C this morning. Beam quality is not guaranteed during this test so we will take carbon optics data and not risk any glass cells. Beam studies are scheduled to be completed at 1 pm and we will resume production running after that. 

Maintianance day is schedule for Wednesday. Please let the RC know if there is any work that you would like to do in the hall.
