[Halla_running] RC daily summary August 6th, 2025

Dear All,

Yesterday during the RC meeting, we discussed the preliminary study on ECal trigger threshold, based on that it is decided to lower that threshold concerning that the present level of 60% is cutting into good elastic events. Eventually we were settled at 45% with 15 uA beam at around 2pm during yesterday Day shift, where DAQ live time stays higher than 90%; see log entry https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4435640. We will keep this running condition until further conclusions. Yesterday swing shift was smooth. There was a valve problem at around 2AM on the accelerator NL which stopped the beam delivery, the fix for that has been pushed to Wednesday maintenance day; beam has been down since then. Today is maintenance day, Hall A has already been put in Controlled Access, if you have work planned in the Hall, please take the chance.

We will have our regular RC meeting today at 1pm, Donald Jones will take over the RC from today.

Since yesterday's Day to today's owl:
* Total Accumulated Charge at Kin3 so far: 76.69 C (Goal: 100 C)
* Total Accumulated Charge at Kin3 since yesterday : 1.21 C
