[Halla_running] [EXTERNAL] Hall A RC Daily Summary August 18th, 2025

Dear Collaborators,

We have been running steady production over the weekend with 15 uA beam on LH2. Our uptimes on Saturday and Sunday were 91% and 88% respectively. There have been some DAQ crashes particularly Sunday day and this morning OWL that shift crew and experts have resolved. GEM experts were rallied over the weekend for an overzealous alarm (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4443711 ) and have been called for many trips on FPP L7 and FPP L5 related to GEM gas tests. ECal had a couple channel trips that shift crew were able to recover on their own, and ECal heating/cooling had an issue that was resolved with a power cycle. There are no access requests at this time. The current plan for today is to continue production at 15 uA.
Since yesterday's day to today's owl:
* Total Accumulated Charge at Kin3 so far: 86.18 C (Goal: 100 C)
* Total Accumulated Charge at Kin3 since yesterday : 1.09 C
Updates from MCC:
* Repair work has been done to the Compton power supply and physics division would like to take another shot at the Compton study this week. The Energy Secretary, Chris Wright, will be touring the facility this Thursday and Halls B and C will be down, this was proposed as a potentially good time for these beam studies. More to come.
* Physics Division would also like to do a high power test, requiring both halls A and C. More to come here as well.
* Hall C is hoping to perform a Moller measurement today, however ongoing issues in the hall may cause them to punt this to later
