Dear Collaborators,
The past 24 hours have been very smooth running at 20uA, there were no interruptions from the Energy Secretary Tour yesterday and uptime was 91%. Following yesterday's RC meeting, we tried to push up in beam current with the hope of beaching maybe 21 or 22 uA. However, without changing any thresholds, we backed out due to live time dips caused by overfilling GEM buffers. There has been an uptick in daq crashes attributed to GEM modules on this new gas mixture operating at new set points. During the night Vidura tried to minimize this by reducing HV on some of these modules. The current plan is to continue taking production data at 20 uA on LH2.
We will have our final RC meeting today.
Since yesterday's Day to today's owl:
* Total Accumulated Charge at Kin3 so far: 89.60 C (Goal: 100 C)
* Total Accumulated Charge at Kin3 since yesterday : 1.32 C
Updates from MCC:
* There are no plans except to send steady beam through the weekend
** 5th pass vertical separator issues are tenable for now, no plan to work on these until Monday unless more issues come up
** Hall D taking higher current on Sunday (~600 nA). No problems expected, however if any do come up it was agreed to postpone until Monday to maintain priority to hall A
