[Halla_running] [New Logentry] RC summary Hall-A July 11, 2025

Dear Collaborators, 

Yesterday Don Jones and the team completed the Moller measurement during the day shift: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4415222. A beam polarization of 87% was measured. Afterwards, we resumed production running which went relatively smooth overall up until we stopped at the beginning of the day shift today to take some zero-file C-foil data for GEM alignment. Here is the run plan for these runs: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4415413. 
I anticipate the C-foil runs to take most of the day shift today and once they are finished we will go back to production running.

Concerns/issues during the last 24 hours:
-We had to stop run 5188 due to a shifting of HCal cluster ADC time (https://logbooks.jlab.org/files/2025/07/4415485/summaryPlots_5188_SBS_critical_noGEM.pdf). Peak had shifted to 90 ns from the desired 95 ns. Stopping the run, re-starting it following the usual steps fixed the issue and we did not see it again so far. Will have to keep an eye on it.
-ECal cluster energy started to show a smaller peak around 1.5 GeV during the middle of the run 518 (it was fine at the start of the run) and the experts instructed to stop the run and reset ECal vtp 1and 2 which fixed it.
-Swing shift SL had to restart CODA components and also call the DAQ on call Ching-Him to get the platform to restart one time.

Following is the summary of our status:
-Charge collected during the last ~24 hour period: 1.132 C
-Total accumulated charge at Kin3 so far: 51.50 C (Goal 100 C)
-Total accumulated charge at Kin3 since July 9 Day to July 11 Owl: 2.03 C
-Effective experiment running efficiency since July 9 Day shift (ABU tot)/(ABU tot + BANU tot): 92%

Plan for today:
-Finish zero-field optic runs during the day shift.
-Resume  production running with 20 uA on liquid H2.
