[Halla_running] [New Logentry] RC summary Hall A July 20 2025

Dear Collaborators,

In the past 24 hours we had relatively productive running at 20 uA (apart from the owl shift),  with relatively stable DAQ live time in some periods, but also we had fluctuations down to 50% as before (like this one https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4421996). The GEM HV corrections were turned OFF. At 2-3pm yesterday Hall C performed BCM calibration varying their current 0-45 uA which didn't affect our data taking. Over the night there were issues with some cavities in the NL that had to be bypassed and the linac had to be operated at the max gradient, still the trip rate was low, ~5/hour. During the day today they will try to un-bypass some of the cavities.

Important issues/events to your attention:
- DAQ live times fluctuates down below 50%, Alex is considering to split/re-distribute the modules in the GEM crates at the next planned access. 
- At midnight DAQ couldn't start multiple times, showing problem with ROC 23 SLOT 21 (vtp 4), but Ching found an error with an HCAL crate that had to be power cycled. 
- The owl SL noticed a second blob in the beam position, correlated with lower number of fired strips in the FT:  https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4422300 (later it disappeared) - any explanations from the experts?

Experiment progress:
-Charge collected during the last ~24 hour period: 1.64 C (no GEM HV corrections)
-Total accumulated charge at Kin3 so far: 61.98 C (Goal 100 C)
-Total accumulated charge at Kin3 since July 16 : 4.61 C
- Average experiment running efficiency since July 16 Day shift went up to (ABU tot)/(AU tot + BANU tot): 79%
