<p>Status summary:<br />
Yesterday we had the beam and target alignment completed with w wires (scan with vertical wires: <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3649773">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3649773</a>). As a request from Bogdan, we also did vertical scan with the horizontal wires (3x3 raster, beam moves +/- 3mm). Nominal beam position is X: 0.2, Y: 1.8 on BPM B. </p>
<p>The septum setting was also done with the maximum current reach ~1100A. During the test, downstream correct did not respond and all corrections were done only with upstream corrector for now (<a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3649874">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3649874</a>).</p>
<p>Bogdan and the team carried out the optics runs over the night. During the study, it was concluded that the RHRS Q1 polarity was not set properly to negative. Discussed with Jack, and we learnt that the RHRS Q1 polarity does not from the power supply gui. It can only reliably be checked by the gaussmeter. The Gaussmeter was reading positive which indicates that the polarity is set to positive. </p>
<p>Ethan came in this morning and had a short escorted access to change the polarity for RHRS Q1. He also checked the downstream corrector for the septum, but the power supply seems fine. </p>
<p>After the Q1 polarity change, we tried to bring it up to 900A to cycle. However, we were not able to bringing it up to the maximum. Jack and Ethan are working on the issue. We requested the controlled access and waiting for the radcon. In the meantime we are having an escorted access so that they can already look at the Q1 power supply.</p>

RHRS Q1 check continues.<br />
Once magnet is checked out and beam is available, do DAQ check (RHRS shower ADC check), coincidence time, SciFi signal check until the optics team comes back.</p>
