Target area survey was completed yesterday and looks good. Small adjustments to target and reference cell horizontal positions need to be made, but appear doable and will not require further survey. The OSP that allows measurements in the target region with
the spectrometer magnets on is now on its way up the signing chain and we hope to have full approval this morning so that measurements can continue this afternoon. Laser work continued overnight and if software issues in the control software can be resolved
so that the full power test can be done, we should be ready for a run certificate from a laser/optics standpoint by Friday. Magnetic field measurements are then the critical path and must be sufficient to demonstrate to Ed and Patricia that the target is
ready for operation without alteration in design. We need them to sign off on this by end of day on Friday. One last point of concern is that DC power needs to lock up the hall and exercise the Hall A arc dipole string. They need at least 2 hours and would
like to run them overnight to ensure readiness. They propose either Thurs swing/night or Fri swing/night. I see this as a top priority since they have not been exercised since GMn and the sooner we let them do this, the more time they have to solve potential
problems. </div>

Our current plan is to bring beam into the Hall on Monday Day shift. We want everything ready by 8AM Monday from software and hardware perspectives. For this to happen, all work in the hall must be completed by 8AM Sunday so that Jessie can come in and do his
hot checkout routine. Here is the way I envision the schedule subject to discussion and change</div>

<li>Laser issues are resolved this morning in preparation for the high power test to come.</li><li>The OSP is approved for magnet measurements with magnets on</li><li>Magnet measurements happen this afternoon.</li><li>At 5PM the hall closes for DC power and remains closed for either a. 2-3 hours if laser work or magnet measurements overnight is critical or b. remains closed the whole night to ensure the dipole string is ready.</li><li>Magnet measurements continue tomorrow day and are able to confirm to Ed's satisfaction we are ready to run.</li><li>We have a run certificate by EOB Friday.</li><li>Magnet measurements and laser work continue throughout Saturday as needed.</li><li>Everyone has their area cleared, cleaned and equipment removed that should not be in the hall during beam BY END OF Day SHIFT SATURDAY. Only target and laser folks should be in the hall after 5PM Saturday and they need to be out of there well before 8AM
Sunday. If your subsystem which is not target or laser requires access into the hall after 5PM Sat, please coordinate with the RC (me) first. I really do not want anything interfering with Jessie's hot checkout on Sunday. Don't be that person!</li><li>Sunday is Jessie's day for hot checkout. Don't ask to get into the hall that day. It won't happen.</li><li>Monday at 8AM we have a shift crew ready for beam. Yves has already tuned us to the Hall A dumplet, so threading us in may not take very long. </li></ol>
