<h2>Accelerator and Hall Status</h2>
<ul><li>I told PD that we would like to take our hall to controlled access on Tuesday as soon as possible so that I can accommodate all the work requests from various sub-systems. PD will contact RadCon and make necessary arrangements. "Special Requests" section below contains a list of all the requests I have got so far.</li>
<li>Yesterday early swing shift MCC wanted to do a BLA calibration of Hall A BCM, which requires sending 60uA on C target merely due to the fact that we don't have an IC calibration at "No Target" position. I talked to Simona, she didn't feel very comfortable taking 60uA on C. She talked to CC and proposed that it will be most efficient if we delay the BLA calibration and do it in association with a BCM calibration, which we will have to do at some point. I sent an email to Jay Benesch detailing the proposal and he agreed after doing some calculations. <b>So, the current plan is to do a BCM calibration on Wednesday and MCC will do their BLA calibration in parallel.</b></li>
<li>We took production data all of day shift, swing shift, and most of the owl shift yesterday.</li>
<li>Around 5am target motion control GUI got stuck. Evaristo tried resetting it following the instructions on Wiki. Didn't work! Arun came in and made a quick access to the hall to hard reboot a IOC. Didn't work! We called Eleen, she tried a few things remotely and then the issue was finally fixed! We lost ~ 3.5 hours due to this issue.</li>
<li>We started taking production data again but unfortunately in about 40 mins (~9am) accelerator was down with some major issues! They are still tweaking the machine. Once that is done we will have to go through the beam checkout procedure and only after that we will be able to start running on He3. So, it might be a while before we start production again.</li>
<li>Target group is trying different ways of optimization and making opportunistic measurements in parallel.</li>
</ul><h2>Run Plan for Today</h2>
<ul><li>Continue taking production data with 43 uA beam current</li>
<li>Do NMR sweeps every 2/3 hours</li>
</ul><h2>Polarization & Acc. Charge</h2>
<ul><li>Total Accumulated Charge on He3: <b>2.649 C</b> </li>
<li>Total Accumulated Charge on He3 (Corrected): <b>2.398 C</b> </li>
<li>Polarization as of 01:33 pm: <b>45.6%</b> </li>
</ul><h2>Special Requests</h2> <b style="color:red;">Needs Attention!</b>
MCC will do beam maintenance on Tuesday. They will take beam away ~ 6:45 am and the whole procedure will take at least one and half shift. If anyone wants to make an access to the hall during that time, then <b>please let me know before hand.</b> We have limited number of access key, so proper coordination is absolutely necessary. <br />Here is the list of requests I have so far:<br /><table><tr><th>Purpose</th>
<th>Coordinator</th>
<th>No. of Access Keys Needed</th>
<th>Preferred Time</th>
</tr><tr><td>Hall A walkthrough</td>
<td>Simona Malace</td>
<td> 3 </td>
<td>Before 4pm</td>
</tr><tr><td>Left dump and Compton IC diagnosis</td>
<td>Jerry Kowal</td>
<td> 3 </td>
<td>Not sure</td>
</tr><tr><td>Work on GRINCH gas system</td>
<td>Carlos Ayerbe</td>
<td>2</td>
</tr></table><p>As discussed on Friday, we will <b>NOT</b> meet today for a daily RC meeting.<br />
Feel free give a call to the RC phone (757 876 1787) or send me an email (<a href="mailto:pdbforce@jlab.org">pdbforce@jlab.org</a>) if you have any questions or concerns.<br />
Happy Sunday!</p>
