Here I lay out a tentative plan for the activities in Hall A during the beam studies tomorrow, and the follow up.
Note: this plan does not yet include input from Gordon Cates. I will post a follow-up entry when I have his input.

* ~7:15: Beam goes away (I've notified the target experts);
* Hunter Presley comes as early as is possible for him, and takes EPR measurements with both SBS and BB magnets ON;
* ~9:15: Radcon (Dave Hamlette notified) comes in to sweep the hall.
* 9:30-45: Hall A techs come to lock out the magnets (Zak Remele notified);
* 10:00-1:00:
- BBCal experts can come in (4 of them at most);
- GEM experts can come as well (2?-3?);
- GRINCH expert can come in too, at their convenience (1 person, ~15 minutes);
- Target experts can come in and start checking things if they want to, depending on keys availability;
* 1:00-5:00: Target experts take "control" of the hall (they mentioned potentially going to CANS mode, and may want to check the enclosure - Radcon support may also be needed);
* 5:00-5:30: Hall close-up: Hall A techs come back in to lock the magnets (will most likely be after-hours, but not outrageously after hours).

After close up, helium 3 target will be polarizing anyway, so we can't go to production. Spokespeople want to take advantage of that to do all measurements that do not need polarized Helium 3: Moller, optics, and data taking on H2 with reference cell.
The plan *as thought out by the spokespeople and collaboration*:
* 10/18 rest of swing: Moller (would take the entirety of swing shift);
* 10/19 Owl: H2 Reference cell data taking;
* 10/19 8:00: escorted access to insert sieve slit;
* 10/19 Day: Sieve slit data taking
- carbon multifoil + SBS-BB magnets ON;
- carbon single foil + SBS-BB magnets OFF;
* 10/19 16:00: escorted access to remove sieve slit;
* 10/19 swing: back to production;

Caveat: I've been advised by PD (notified) that it wouldn't be wise to go straight to Moller, and that it would be better to wait for CW beam to be reestablished...
Depending on the time when CW is established, it might not be wise to wait for it and do Moller afterwards either. That will have to be discussed in more detail, and the second part of the plan may evolve.
No matter what, we will take data on reference cell Thursday Owl, that shouldn't change.
