RC daily update 10/21
General Updates:
After the distribution board for the HCal TDC issue was changed early in day shift yesterday that issue seems to be resolved. Throughout the rest of day shift we were able to take production data pretty uneventfully other than a few DAQ issues. Late in day shift ROC22 with the SBS GEMs started crashing the DAQ so we switched to the noSBSGEMs configuration. Holly tried to add them back into the DAQ in swing shift but was unable to get it to work so we are still taking data without the SBS GEMs.

Early in swing shift we started to see the BB GEM HVs tripped a couple times. These were seemingly from beam excursions (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4203988 and
https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4203998). Throughout swing and owl shift we continued to have issues with the GEM HVs. It now seems like BB XY GEM 0 top is shorted (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4204147) . It looks like the cause of the GEM trips could be bleedthrough from hall C (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4204494). MCC just informed me that they see increase in the He3 collimator IC but that the scale of the bleedthrough should be nanoamps, they have no plans to retune the optics as of now.

Run plan is to continue taking production data as long as things do not worsen, and we do not see issues with the data quality.

Shift Openings:
URGENT! We need a SL for tomorrow (10/22) during swing shift. The trade request is for incomplete training and they will not be allowed on site.
__________________________________________________________________________
We will plan to have no 3:30 meeting Saturday and Sunday unless there is need.
