<p>Thanks to the hard work of the target group and our hall techs the hall is in a state where it can receive beam at any time. However, the issue with the hall A dump building (#91) seems to be severely complicated by the contamination in the room housing the pump. There are 2 options on the table to replace the pump: a. Wait for ~2weeks for a spare to arrive b. Try and repair an old pump that is on site but contaminated since it was previously in use. These options are being evaluated at the Safety Committee meeting today and we hope to hear news later today.</p>
<p>In the meantime:<br />
* the target group is finalizing alignment on the target cell<br />
* Zak and the crew will rearrange the SBS scintillators to allow us to take cosmis and check-out the SBS GEMs as well<br />
* I am cancelling all shifts (SL and TO) until (and including) Wed DAY</p>
