<p>The hall was in controlled access yesterday during the day shift as Hall C was changing to 4 pass.</p>
<p>HCal coincidence trigger window was varying, now it is fixed - <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4287249">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4287249</a></p>
<p>2 GEM module power supplies were switched so that a shorted module was not connected to an active one. This recovered a good chunk of active area in the SBS GEMs. One of the APV issues was fixed on BB side as well which recovered one of the holes. - <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4287530">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4287530</a></p>
<p>It took longer than anticipated to recover beam. CW was sent into the hall a little after 3 am. After this we quickly check the carbon hole to make sure the beam was where we thought it was after all the work that was done. Everything looked ok. </p>
<p>Next some LH2 data was taken to check the work done for the GEMs. Everything we expected to recover was seen. This raised the per layer efficiency in the back tracker to 70%. </p>
<p>After this a quick test of the GEM hardware thresholds was done to check the data rate if we want to loosen the threshold. It seems like loosening the hardware threshold to 2 sigma (nominally 3 sigma) will not seriously change the data rate - <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4287751">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4287751</a></p>
<p>We returned to10 uA on LD2 for production data taking for most of the 2nd half of owl. We decreased the current from yesterday because there were a huge number of accidentals in the higher current 17 uA data. If this data at 10 uA looks good we can think about going to 12 uA. </p>
<p>Continue with production data taking until beam studies tomorrow during day shift.</p>
