<p>Dear Collaborators,</p>
<p>The most important news is that the DAQ live time issue was solved - <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4423769">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4423769</a>, thanks to Ole, Alex, Vidura. Before that finding, the speculation that vtpROC20 is keeping the DAQ busy was excluded in several test runs by dropping the MPDs. Right now the DAQ live time is close to 100%.</p>
<p>Yesterday, the beam was down until late afternoon (different RF issues in the NL), then we took short runs to troubleshoot DAQ, and a 4h run with lower HVs of layers 4 & 5, as discussed yesterday. Production running continued until 7am, then the beam for Hall A went down due to an ioc problem preventing to lock on the target BPMs - <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/442405">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/442405</a>.<br />
Hall B solenoid came back in the late afternoon yesterday resulting in some fluctuations of the target parameters that were mitigated by adjusting the JT valve.<br />
Right now we are performing GEM HV scans (for about 4 hours) as suggested by Andrew yesterday. </p>
<p>Important issues/events to your attention:<br />
- going back to 4h rule, after the live time issue was solved<br />
- GEM HV optimization<br />
- Approval for Isobutane usage? </p>
<p>Experiment progress:<br />
-Charge collected during the last ~24 hour period: 0.91 C (no GEM HV corrections)<br />
-Total accumulated charge at Kin3 so far: 64.29 C (Goal 100 C)<br />
-Total accumulated charge at Kin3 since July 16 : 6.92 C<br />
-Average running efficiency since July 16 Day shift went up to (ABU tot)/(AU tot + BANU tot): 83% </p>
