<p>At the end of Day shift yesterday, Kip and Jhih-Ying installed the new elastic calibration constants in the VTP and FADC configuration files. We continued running production at 16uA overnight with 65% threshold and live time slightly above 90%. We hope to have an sufficient analysis today to evaluate the threshold and see if we can increase it enough to get back to 20uA with >90% live time and not cutting significantly into the elastic distribution. Until then, we will continue at 16uA with 65% threshold.</p>
<p>Tomorrow is a combination of beam studies and maintenance day starting at 6AM and going to 6PM. During beam studies the hall will not be open and as of right now it is not clear when it will be. GEM experts would like to go in tomorrow for a few hours when the hall is open to investigate and perhaps repair modules and planes that have not been operating properly and thus turned off.</p>
